Marion Garber, 80, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday October 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful wife of 50 years to her husband Paul Louis Garber.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Clifford Daniel Whipp Jr. and Michael Whipp. She was a loving mother to her 3 daughters, Sandra Widmark, Vicky Sladek, and Teri George. Marion is also survived by her Grandchildren, Joseph Sladek Jr., Amy Gyurisin, Amanda Ridgardo, Daniel Whipp, Katie Widmark, Timothy George III, Kayla Krysiak, Kelly Widmark, Tyler George and Trey George. She also left behind six Great Grandchildren; Caleb Barnes, Luca Sladek, Leo Sladek, Skylar Ridgardo, Wyatt Gyurisin and Benjamin Gyurisin.
Marion loved her family and was the glue that held it together. She was a very giving person and enjoyed giving way more than receiving. Some of her favorite things to do were playing Bingo, playing the lottery, and she loved going to flea markets on the weekend. She was also a great cook and a great baker. We will miss her Jewish apple cakes, strawberry shortcakes and blueberry muffins.
A life this beautiful deserves a celebration. Immediate family will hold a private Celebration of Life to honor and remember a wife, mother, sister and a friend to many that has blessed us all so much.
