Mrs. Bernice Joyce Gallant lovingly known as “Joyce” went home to be with God Friday, 30 August, 2019, after fighting a good fight of faith against leukemia. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, Christmas Eve, 1932.

After retiring from NYPD as a payroll accountant and reporter for Spring 31 magazine, Joyce went to Charleston, SC with her husband where she worked as a payroll accountant for the Charleston County EMS.
Ms. Gallant is predeceased by her husband, Mr. Joseph Gallant, 11 February 2008, and daughter, Joyce R. Gallant, 16 October, 2018.
