Gary loved deeply, and was loved by so many. Those who knew Gary, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He had a smile that would warm your heart and light up a room when he walked in,
and his “bear” hugs were the absolute best. He truly had a heart of gold. Gary loved celebrating holidays, birthdays, and special gatherings with his family. He enjoyed being a daddy to his daughter Skylar and loved her with all his heart. He shared loving, special connections with his Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother-in-law, Wife, his grandmother, his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great
Gary was a talented athlete, and loved to play soccer and tennis the most. He was well liked everywhere he went. Gary had a love for SHOES. He always looked handsome. If you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. Whether it was about something absolutely beautiful and
sentimental, ridiculously funny, or just downright inappropriate, he left his mark.
We know Gary is now with his grandparents, Ervin Poole, Margareta Poole, Lewis Rader, and Ray Jackson, his Cousin Eddie Nelson, his dog Rylee, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
Picture Gary reading this in heaven now, with an energy drink in his hand, a soccer ball under his foot, and with shoes that match his shirt and hat perfectly.
He will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not. We will see him everywhere: Jordan shoes, lint rollers, soccer balls, each time you notice you a “drunken collar” or anytime you hear “Hey there
Delilah”. Gary, I know you’re not in pain anymore.
