Barbara and I have been friends for 51 years. I was working at Western Electric when she came in for an interview, looking beautiful and dressed so lovely. All the guys were thumbs up, please hire her boss and he did! That was the start of our friendship. Barb was the sweetest and nicest person I have ever known. Lots of great memories from playing pinnacle to our trips to Ocean City to lots of fun dinners! I love you Barb and will miss you till we meet again!

Our hearts are broken. We are left behind without our “Barb.” We rejoice for the end of suffering and pain though.

What a unique human being Barb was! One of the few people you could have a conversation with and know that she was truly interested in what you were saying. If you made a comment she would then ask you no less than 10 questions so she could get the full picture. She was truly interested in what you were saying and so focused on you. She made you feel valued as a friend. We often joked that she was the only person we knew who still had clothes she wore in high school.

Having children the same age put us on the same volunteer circuit together. T-ball, softball, Brownies, Girl Scouts, and dance recitals. Barb was up front and center. Always ready to help. I could go on and on - she meant so much to our family.

Won’t you just miss her laughter? I know we will. What a beautiful sound! What a beautiful spirit!

Rest easy friend - give Nelson a squeeze from us.

Love, The Denton’s
