Obituary for Walter Brian McCarthy

Walter Brian McCarthy, 47 of Glen Burnie, MD passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Brian was born November 5, 1971 in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of Patricia (Wiest) Morris of Delaware and Walter Wayne McCarthy of Virginia. He was the step-son of the late, Walter Lewis Krauss and George Morris. He was joined in marriage on December 24, 1994 in Breezewood, PA to Diana Lynn (Ward) McCarthy. She survives along with their daughter, Breanna Lynn McCarthy and fiancé, Steven Hillman of Rochester, PA and step-sons, Robert Taylor (RG) and wife Amanda (Sparks) of Hopewell, PA, Patrick and Matthew Wiest of Glen Burnie, MD. Grandchildren, Gavin, Caden and Eliza Taylor. Two sisters, Erin (McCarthy) Ward and husband, Rodney, Clearville, PA and Katrina (Krauss) Williams and husband, Jay of Pasadena, MD. Nieces, Daryn and Alyssa Ward and nephews, Dexter and Cooley Williams. Also survived by numerous close friends, family and colleagues.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and closest friends working on cars in the garage and talking shop about locksmithing. He shared his knowledge and skills to all who wished to learn. He was honored to work for Pimlico Key Service and enjoyed everything he was able to learn from the other skilled techs.
All arrangements made by Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Services, Thomas Allen, P.A. of Glen Burnie, MD. Memorial to be held at a later date.
