Obituary for Paul Franklin Martin

Paul Franklin Martin died peacefully on April 5, 2019 at the Loch Raven VA Community Living center in Baltimore Maryland at the age of 71.

Paul was born August 18, 1947 Charleston WV to Hugh and Bernice Martin. He entered the United States Marine Corp in 1965, and served 3 years 11 months and 28 days on active duty, two of those years were served in Vietnam. He received purple heart with 1 star. He was a active member of the American Legion and VFW. Semper Fi.

He is survived by his children Joepaul Martin and Norma of Brooklyn Park MD. Hertabernice Rill of Manchester MD. Hugh Harvey Martin of Charleston WV. Ernest Yarbrough and Jenny Dionisio of Glen burnie MD. Joseph Yarbrough and Raisa of Glen Burnie MD. Thomas Yarbrough of Pasedena MD. Stephanie Weiss of Preston MD. Karen Spigoni of Hampstead MD. James O brien of Catonsville MD. Brothers James Martin of WV. George Martin of WV. Richard Martin of Fredericksburg VA. John Martin of Chesapeake VA. Daniel Martin of Mountain Home AR. Sisters Mollie Martin of Poca WV. Pamela Clements of Chesapeake VA. Connie Lategano of Patchogue NY. June Martin of Dublin OH. Mary Berry of Summit AR. He has 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife Darlene Martin, wife Margaret Martin. Brothers Lewis Martin, Hugh Martin Jr. Benjamin Martin, David Martin. Sisters Deloris Carr, Linda Cooper, Patricia Davidson.

Paul was a very caring, giving man who loved his family and his dogs. His likes were fishing, hunting, karaoke and bowling.

All family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Paul’s life on April 28,2019 from 1 to 5 at the Elks lodge at 878 Stevenson Road Severn, MD 21144. A funeral service will be June 7, 2019 in Charleston WV. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Loch Raven VA Community Living Center Hospice care unit in Baltimore for their dedication.
