Obituary

Obituary for Ryan Patrick Healy

On Wednesday, April 3rd 2019, we lost our beloved Ryan Patrick Healy.
He wouldn’t want a normal obituary, really.
He lost his long hard-fought battle with addiction.
For love, life and family, he had much conviction.
Survived by his parents, Pat & Diane.
Ryan always knew they’d do all that they can.
For his sisters & brothers Tara, Crystal, Dan & Chase.
No one else could ever take his place.
With Lauren, his girlfriend, such big plans were made.
We pray that she will continue to see they are laid.
Nephews & nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles & friends.
Our love for him never ends.
He was born in Baltimore, the year 1983 on the 7th, one April night.
He loved music & fishing, creative poems he would write.
Known for his eccentric hair & dress.
In his ties & suspenders, He was always ready to impress.
He loved to pick flowers and talk all about flooring.
God knows a conversation with him was certainly never boring.
He loved fiercely, he loved hard, his passions never to cease.
May God bless him, and his soul finally rest in peace.

A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held on Saturday April 13th at 4:00pm at 8112 Ft. Smallwood Rd. Baltimore, MD 21226. Memorial contributions can be made to
http://recoveryannearundel.org/donate/. Be sure to put “Ryan Healy memorial fund” in the payment notes.

Ryan Healy I love you so much. Again This is for you. Empty Arms Without you in my arms I'm not quite whole This time with you gone is taking its toll I crave your touch Your kisses&hugs and such Wanting you in my arms so tight You and I together is what I know is right Because when I kiss your lips My butterflies take flight When I'm lonely in my bed at night I close my eyes and dream of you And I see a picture not so blue Of times that have passed kissing you

You were my first baby (or at least I thought you were a real-life babydoll), my first partner in crime, my first best friend, my baby brother! We've been through so many things through the years, and I can't imagine the thought that you won't be there for the rest of it. So many memories of you! A lifetime of memories! From hiking with Dad at the state park, rock hopping and "mountain climbing", to summers at Grandpop Healy's pool! Six flags adventures with mom, and marco polo games in our back yard! Army in the neighborhood, and you always having to watch your favorite cartoons! Endless video game battles and games of pool. Taking you out for your 21st birthday was one of the best nights ever!! Taking you to MVA to get your license again- and watching you take the driving test a million times before you finally passed!! Seeing the joy and pride in your eyes when you would get sober again and feel on top of the world! Reading some of your beautiful poems! So many memories of you... Unfortunately, a lot of my memories of you are sad ones that I don't want to remember- but it does serve as a reminder that you are no longer suffering. I hope that you are up there watching over us, I hope that you show me some signs to let me know you're here with me!! I'll love and miss you always!!
